9 Months Married!!!
Today we’ve been married a whole 9 months and what an amazing adventure it’s been! We still can’t get over how incredible our fairytale wedding was and all the miracles God did in providing for every detail (through so many of you❤️) we are beyond thankful for the amazing family members and friends who have supported us, loved us, and shared their wisdom with us that has set us up for success as we charged into this adventure of marriage! We got back to YWAM and started ministry together as husband and wife right after our honeymoon. We have gotten to serve Jesus together, create a home together, travel all over the world together, we became house parents in January and so we basically adopted 200 college aged students getting trained to go share the love of Jesus in the nations, and then covid hit and we got to pray over each of them as they were commissioned home instead (thank you Jesus for hometown revivals springing forth!) We survived a global pandemic together and were 2 of the 100 missionaries who stayed on our campus to help keep it running so that it stayed ready to train, equip, and send thousands of young people into the missions field each year. Filled with date nights, board games, worship nights, road trips, and so much love, these 9 months have flown by in the best way. Last night we were treated to a fancy date night at a beautiful restaurant and we both laughed at how while we’ve only been married for 9 months, it feels so right and actually feels like this is just how it has always been! Our love has only grown stronger, the honeymoon phase never ended, and the adventure is just beginning! How I love doing life with my best friend by my side. Marriage is by far one of God’s best ideas ever and doing it with Jesus at the center is the sweetest and most life giving thing in the world! I love you babe and I can not wait for all the amazing adventures still ahead❤️😘
